Streak 21 ("the App", "we", "us") helps you build habits and track progress. This Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your data. By using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.
2. Data We Collect
- Account data: email or social login IDs, display name, avatar (if provided).
- Authentication tokens: to keep you signed in securely.
- Habit data: habits you create, check-ins, goals, notes, and reminders.
- Device data: device identifier, model/OS, app version, language, timezone.
- Analytics/diagnostics: crash logs and anonymized usage data for stability and performance measurement.
3. How We Use Data & Legal Basis
We process your data to fulfill our contract with you (provide the core service) and based on our legitimate interests (improvement and security).
- To Provide the Service (Contractual): Core features, account access, streaks, badges, personalization (language, timezone, notifications).
- For Security and Improvement (Legitimate Interest): Authentication, abuse prevention, debugging, measuring performance, and planning new features.
- For Communications (Consent/Contractual): Sending push notifications (if enabled) and responding to support inquiries.
4. Data Sharing
- Service providers: Hosting, analytics, crash reporting, notifications. These providers are bound by confidentiality obligations.
- Legal compliance: If required by law, valid legal process, or to protect our rights or the safety of others.
- We do not sell or rent personal data to third parties.
5. Storage, Retention, and Deletion
Data is stored on secure servers with access controls. We retain data while your account is active or as needed to provide the service. The App provides a function for permanent user account deletion.
- Account Deletion: You have the right to request the deletion of your account and associated data. Upon submitting an account deletion request, all your personal information and related data (including habit data, check-ins, notes, etc.) will be completely and permanently removed from our systems, subject only to necessary legal requirements to retain certain records (e.g., billing information).
- Retention: Data is otherwise retained while the account is active; when data is no longer necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, it will be deleted or anonymized.
6. Your Choices & Data Rights
You can exercise your data rights by managing your in-app settings or contacting us.
- Access/Update: Update your profile and habit data directly within the App.
- Deletion: Request account and data deletion via the App settings or by emailing support@dofun.app.
- Notifications: Control push notifications via device and in-app settings.
7. Security
We use industry-standard protections (encryption in transit and at rest, access controls). However, no method is 100% secure. Protect your credentials and device.
8. Children's Privacy
The App is not directed to, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from, children under the age of 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us.
9. International Use
Data may be processed outside your country. By using the App, you consent to this transfer. We ensure contractual protections are in place where required by law.
10. Changes
We may update this Policy. Material changes will be noted in-app or via the "Last updated" date at the top of the Policy.
